mans, got back my SA1 results and its kinda screwed:/ failed 2 subjects and i didn’t do well for those i passed too. got to know from my ct that the bottom 50% of the cohort will attend night study from 7-9pm. guess i will definitely be one of them. but its good too, at least i wont waste my night away watching tv, haha. time just passes so fast and its April already. before you know it, here comes prelims and A’s. in another 2 months, i will be taking SA2. this comprises of topics from last year all the way to where we’re gonna stop. it’s quite a bit and i guess i need to start revising them. can’t afford to fail anything this time. i need motivation to push myself. these few days, i was hardworking enuf to do my tutorials. was kinda upset over the things happening at home, hence i spend most of my time in the room studying. unusual huhs? hahahs, i didn’t see that coming too. but its kinda cool how i enjoyed my time studying in the room. hope this continues to A’s! off to finish my tutorials now~

it has been 2 weeks since J2 started! many ups and downs in this 2 weeks though, but everyday just seem to pass so fast. i am totally drowned in tutorials, assignments and tests! RAWRR:/but thankfully, i’m only left with chem paper on monday and GP on thursday:)

okay the ups first! had SP gathering like last Friday? hahahha, it was totally an awesome time of gathering and having fun bbq-ing:) i am starting to get comfortable being in z2. as in initally, it was really hard for me as i am like officially inn z2. but thank god for all the nice z2 people! hahahaha:D also, yesterday was great! Friday is like my favourite day cos school ends early! better than other days, end at 4,5. went back to mpss to help revise for the sec3′s JNCO exam, and also train the competition team members. Didn’t have to raise my voice yesterday. everyone suddenly seemed so discipline and all, except for 2 sec5s that totally boiled me up. but since my TIC spoke to them, they were kinda spared from my scolding. hahaha:) hope that i can start to be nicer by not scolding, as long as they keep up their good work! jiayou people:)

okay now, for the downs. went out with my church clique on Thursday to celebrate esther’s birthday. so we met up to give her a surprise at RJ. when the 3 of us first meet up to do esther’s card, i felt kinda weird there because i know the 2 of them wanted to talk about stuff, but because i was there so they had to like sms each other? and it was wayy obvious cos caroline kept saying, erm tell you later-as in the you is shiny. so i was there just editing esther’s card. and after that, when we surprised esther and she came to join us, they were talking about some guys from their schools. similarly, i didn’t know what was going on-except for some. so i just sat there and listen. as in, it felt as if i was there just because it have been the 4 of us since sec2. but its not because like i am there because the 4 of us know whats going on in each other’s life. okay, i don’t know how to put this. as in, it seemed like i was there because it would have been bad if they didn’t ask me along cos we are one clique. but the matter of fact, i couldn’t seem to catch what they were talking about. this happened last year too. but after some sorting out, things got better and now history is repeating itself again. honestly, i don’t feel that i’m enjoying the time together cos the conversations were things that the 3 of them already know, while it seem so new to me. i don’t know how things will go in time to come, but i really don’t want to make myself doubt my identity in that clique anymore. i must totally get myself out of this:)

1st day of school.

today’s the first day of school. was kinda excited thou, like a new start. but today hasn’t been the best of days. out of the 8 girls, 2 of them had to retain, so left with the 6 of us. but i miss them the whole day! and also, i feel that there seem to be a separation between the girls. okay i don’t know how to explain this, but anyway, it just doesn’t feel good. but i have set my mind to not get affected but commit to focus on mugging for A’s.

during GP lesson today, all the girls went to the toilet before he started as we were really urgent. we got back to the classroom at about 115pm when lesson suppose to start at 100pm. i know it’s our fault la. but its like the first day of school and its because we went to the toilet! he actually lock the girls outside the classroom! he said you all don’t come in. he obviously show favoritism la! the guys go toilet halfway through lessons okay, then girls go toilet he will scold us? but at least he called us back in after a good 5-10mins. he always have this kind of don’t be bothered attitude. i guess GP, its all on our own. ):

3 more days to 11th January 2010~ this would mean the start of J2! honestly, i still can’t believe that time flew past just like that. one moment ago, i was busy mugging for O’s and enjoying my hols after that. and now, its ‘A’ level year already. ): although i know this year will pass reallyyyy fast, but it would be mugging all over again for mid years, to prelims, to “A’s. i guess i need to stop worrying, and start studying! of cos, i will trust in the Lord to grant me favour as i study this year! speaking of studying, i thank god i manage to do some of my assignments. thou its not alot, but better than nothing! HAHAHA:D 3 more days to complete my assignments, but i have sjab meeting tonight, snco examination tomorrow, and church cell planning on sunday. it’s okay, i’ll just rush thru today:)

3 days later, it will also be the release of the GCE ‘O’ level results. many of my friends are having jitters now! the release of results is getting earlier and earlier. But anyway, ALL THE BEST TO ALL RECEIVING YOUR RESULTS! will be praying for all of you. just relax and believe:)

yesterday, went out to study with a bunch of guys. the girls couldn’t make it, so it was just the 6 of us – myself, nicholas, marc, dejun, weijing and zuoxian. we went to tampines macs to study. the guys would usually be so distracted that they will go watch a movie or something even before their seats get hot. but surprisingly, we studied from 11 to 5! although they were really noisy, but it wasn’t that bad:) had some laughter in the midst of studying makes studying much more interesting. myself and nicholas even had a competition to see who could solve one of the math question first. of cos, i won! HAHAHA:D but with the help of zuoxian. he was made to buy ice cream for us, heees. have been craving for curly fries since like sunday! finally i could have them, yums!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
i just realised i’m quite terrible, have not been updating for almost a month! HAHAHAHA:) it’s okay, i will update all at one go! anyway had a great church camp @port dickson, Malaysia. It has just been awesome how 600people can come together in one camp, have fun and worship God:):) it’s one experience i will never forget. From church camp, things has just been so packed for me until today. Celebrated my bro’s birthday, had stayover @my place, shopping and sjab zone retreat. Before i know it, it’s countdown for 2010! AWESOMENESS, its now 2010 already. i just cant believe how time flies so fast without me knowing it. I’m 18 this year!! that’s like terribly old already! and the worse would be A’s this year): it just seemed as if O’s just ended for me, and now A’s! I’m praying hard that i can focus this year and do well for A’s

Anyway, had an awesome picnic with my sec sch clique yesterday! great way to celebrate the new year:) I reached home @4am that morning, slept @5am and woke up at 745am. I could barely wake up! But yea, we had a great time @marina barrage, chatting and flying kites like some small kids! It just doesn’t feel the same being with secondary school friends. I guess because these friends are those whom you mature with:)

Today is daddy’s birthday! actually, have not thought of whether to celebrate out or at home. Shall decide after church later:) HEEES. cell starts @830am later. As this is a new year, i would be joining z2 from tomorrow forth-with andrew’s cell. I pray that everything will go well this year; be it studies, family, sjab or church:) MUST KEEP MYSELF FOCUS AFTER TODAY! LOTS OF ASSIGNMENTS WAITING FOR ME):

WOW, it has been 2 weeks since i last updated this blog:) came back from korea on the night 2dec. after that, my next one week was terribly busy. on 4th, had sjab course day. was the duty officer that day:) kinda scaring at first thou, cos its my first time being in an instructor in zone8; like dont really know what to do. hahaha, gosh, still have sjab camp from 11-13. and after, leave for malaysia for church camp from 14-17. I PRAY I HAVE ENOUGH CLOTHES! hahaha:)

anyway, back to korea!:):):) i left on 27th nov and touch down in korea on 28th, 5.10am(korean time). We were on tour, but this tour is like a family tour, cos its like my paternal side all went. so a total of 19 of us? plus 2 other ladies who joined us. but they are very nice and friendly, my bro and my 10 year old cousin actually ‘fell in love‘ with them! hahaha, so funny:) when we arrived at korean airport, our tour guide told us that outside’s freezing, -3degrees! and guess what, i couldn’t even stay still after 5 mins outside! its really super duper cold, and we had to wait outside for our bus to arrive. we went to NAMI ISLAND after that:) it was the place where the shooting of winter sonata was done, and took lots of photos there! i even had ice cream in that cold weather! it was just awesome:):):) like the ice cream will never melt! went on for lunch and short shopping trip. but because the places we went were quite far, spent about 2-3 hrs on bus ride. we went for dinner after that and it was like at 5.05pm (kt), which is like 4.05pm (sing time)!! dinner so early right? hahahaha. generally, the first day was rather relaxing:):)

here comes day2! woke up at 6am, super early): but it was the best day! we left with our luggage and proceed to the ski resort:) the journey was quite long, like a good 3 hrs. but when we reached there, we took a cable car up the hill and had a great sight seeing of the made made ski place! it was called GONDOLA, and its like 12,000won per person! but it’s all worth it cos when we reached the top, IT WAS SNOWING! as in really snowing, not man-made! not only the kids, adults were also so amused and we took lots and lots of photos up there!:):):) we went down to the resort and borrowed all the ski equipments needed and we just spent the whole day enjoying ourselves with SNOWBALLS! hahahaha:)

kinda tired now. will update the other 3 days tomorrow! :)

seoul garden.

no school today! so suppose to have like a class lunch or something. but end up only like 13 people turn up? hahahaha:) but we still went to seoul garden anyway. i have never felt so full my life! angel and i shared 3 big plates of beef and fish, drank soup, ate the stuff in the soup, 6 scoops of icecream and 2 ice kachang! terrible right? i think so too. but i didn eat dinner! so a heavy lunch paid off dinner too, hahahaha:) it was really fun la. great time of bonding and laughter! we sat according to gender, and everyone said that our food looks nicer. you know, guys are messy in nature. hahaha! some pictures below:

lost my phone.

terrible day, terrible incident. on the way to school, i dropped my phone on bus 29. i place it on top of my bag and i guess it slipped without me knowing. when i was walking to the auditorium, then i realised my phone wasn’t with me. used my friends’ phone to call sbs, call my phone, but there was no answer. Finally, the guy that picked up my phone answered the call. He said that he was in a meeting and would call back in an hrs time. I waited and i waited, thinking that my phone was safe, i still had the mood to joke and all. But at 11am, i realised it was way past an hr and i called my phone again. This time, my phone was off. I knew it was gone then, like never gonna get it back. True enough, till now, the phone is still off. There goes my samsung omnia, my contacts, my important notes. Never had i feel so lost before, like without a phone, it really makes a great difference. all to blame on my carelessness. can see that mom isn’t very happy to know about this. sigh, these few days are like the worse days of my life. first is friends, then a quarrel with my mom, and now this. going to korea with this kinda mood really suck. leaving for korea on 27th. hopefully i will be able to get over all these in the days in korea. i just don’t understand why people can be so selfish. knowing that person lost a phone, panicking looking for it, and he still has the cheek to take that phone! i really pray hard that singaporeans will have more compassion and empathy. but glad that today, on the way home, there’s this old lady crossing a long road, about 4-5lanes, but this guy actually ran over to help her knowing that there’s no traffic light there and its difficult for her to cross on her own. at least he show that some singaporeans still have humanity! till now, cant really get over the fact that my phone isn’t with me. learning point, make sure your phone is with you ALL THE TIME!
